MIDDLE EAST CRISIS UPDATE: Abu Dhabi embassy ready to send Pinoys home

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Philippine embassy based in the United Arab Emirates capital is ready to send home Filipinos “in view of recent developments” in the Middle East.

The Abu Dhabi-based embassy, in its Public Advisory 01-2020, said Filipinos in the Middle East are “assured that the Philippine Government is prepared to repatriate any Filipino who may be affected or displaced by the ongoing crisis.”

The embassy also advised Filipinos to remain vigilant, exercise caution, and maintain situational awareness at all times.”
