BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – A man who police said has a string of drug raps and his cousin were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Zone 4, Hilamonan village, Kabankalan City yesterday, 16 August 2022.
Kabankalan is 100 kilometers south from here.
Police reported Teddy Ronquillo, 37, and Kendrick Ronquillo, 29, were nabbed after selling suspected meth to a poseur buyer.
Police reportedly seized 15 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of three grams with estimated worth of P20,400.
City police chief, Lieutenant Colonel Reymond Cruz, said Teddy was previously arrested for possessing drugs but appealed for a plea bargain.
Meanwhile, Kendrick has no previous illegal drug-related case but was already on the drug watchlist
