November 18, 2022 – On its 22nd-anniversary celebration, Victorias Commercial Center held a groundbreaking of its various improvement projects led by City Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez.
The total budget appropriation for the project is over Php 34 million. It encompasses VCC rehabilitation, repair, improvement of the wet section, and rentable space at the Coconut section.
A time capsule was buried in the VCC grounds containing the plans and programs for the establishment.

City Officials and VCC Tenant’s Association President Fatima Cornel joined the ceremony together with the City department heads, market tenants, vendors, and project partners and beneficiaries.
