Not just one but four.
Victorias City Government conducted a series of groundbreaking ceremonies for various improvement projects in Victorias Transport Terminal, Bahay Pag-asa Youth Center, Senior Citizen, and Sangguniang Kabataan pavilions with a total appropriation of over Php 17 million, November 22.
The City allocated Php 1.5 million for the improvement of the transport terminal and Php 964,803 for the terminal comfort room repair.
Additionally, Php 2 million is billed for the construction of a multipurpose hall and basketball court in Bahay Pag-asa Youth Center, Barangay XIV.
A total of Php 7.2 million is also funded for the improvement of the Senior Citizen Pavilion located in the City public plaza.
The SK Pavilion is set to be renovated as the City also allocated Php 5.8 million budget appropriation for its improvement project.
City Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez led the ceremonies together with Vice Mayor Abelardo Bantug III, the City Councilors, City Administrator Atty. Lindolf De Castro, department heads, punong barangays, beneficiaries, and project implementers.
These projects are among the many implementations which the administration of Mayor Benitez initiated during his assumption into office.
