Bo is a renowned Negrense photographer whose passion for the art form blossomed during his childhood amidst the sugarcane fields of Negros.

In 1977, he joined the Bacolod Camera Club, sharing his work and passion with fellow artists. The following year, he joined the prestigious Camera Club of the Philippines (CCP), where his works were consistently featured in the CCP’s annual calendar. He also received numerous awards and citations for his contributions. After 25 years of active participation, he earned the Lifetime Membership.

His works have been showcased in numerous exhibitions, including his solo shows Winning Moments and Countryside. Gaining international recognition, Bo’s work has been selected for prestigious international exhibitions, such as the 2009 Kellicut International Juried Photo Show, showcasing his talent on the world stage. These international experiences have further solidified his reputation as a master of his craft and a significant contributor to the global photography community.

The exhibit was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including Negros Cultural Foundation President Ms. Lyn Gamboa and former Silay City Mayor Mr. Oti Montelibano.

The exhibit was attended by the artist’s friends, members of the media, bloggers, and esteemed guests such as Negros Cultural Foundation President Ms. Lyn Gamboa and former Mayor of Silay City Mr. Oti Montelibano, who shared a few words. The event was assisted by Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod’s Rooms Division Manager, Mr. Archie Javellana.

Through the Lens – A 50-Year Journey Exhibit will have two parts: the first part will run until February 25, and new artworks will be featured from February 26 to April 6.

The exhibit not only celebrates art but also fosters community camaraderie and supports meaningful causes. Proceeds will help establish the Arts Foundation of Talisay and benefit the Knights of Columbus Council #6036, aiding outreach and feeding programs for underprivileged children in Talisay City.
