[Bacolod City, Philippines – September 5, 2023]

Last September 5, 2023, the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) recently conducted a comprehensive on-site inspection and evaluation at the GSIS Bacolod Branch Office in full compliance with Republic Act 11032, otherwise known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.

The dedicated ARTA inspection team is pleased to announce that no adverse findings were discovered during their assessment. They were particularly impressed by the exemplary level of service provided, which closely adhered to the standards outlined in the GSIS Citizens Charter. Accessing these standards is made effortless through the digital Guide To Transactions And Processes (GTAP). Moreover, the GSIS Bacolod Branch Office showcased a profound commitment in upholding the principles of the Data Privacy Act while facilitating a seamless and efficient experience for its members through the adoption of various GSIS online systems and programs.

This remarkable accomplishment reflects the collaborative spirit of Team Bacolod, bolstered by the steadfast support of the GSIS executives. As GSIS Bacolod Branch Manager Cecilia C. Tenaja eloquently puts it, “This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our Bacolod team, made possible through the guidance and support of our GSIS executives.”

Beyond the commendable outcome, the inspection process also serves as a valuable benchmarking opportunity for both ARTA and GSIS. It fosters a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery, benefiting all stakeholders.

Present during this significant milestone event were the ARTA Team, represented by Undersecretary Gerald G. Divinagracia, Director Grace Fernandez, Project Development Officer V, Kristine Joy T. Fajardo, Mr. Darrel Magno, and GSIS Executives and Bacolod Branch Office personnel which includes, OIC-SVP Atty. Isagani E. Del Rosario of VisMin Operations, OIC-VP for Visayas Rosalinda G. Mendoza, GSIS Committee on Anti-Red Tape (GCART) Chair and Human Resources Head VP Vilma L. Fuentes, GCART Manager Paolo Orlando L. Veloso, GSIS Bacolod Branch Manager Cecilia C. Tenaja, Leilani B. Mangabat, Division Chief of FSD, and Miles Andres C. Canastillo, Division Chief of BCRD, respectively.
