In a recent interview with online military mouthpiece DNX, 303rd commander Brig. Gen. Ted Dumosmog prattled nonsensically about 15 killings since January that the New People’s Army (NPA) in Northern Negros claimed responsibility in order to sow terror and project strength.
First and foremost, his numbers are overinflated. As per Roselyn Jean Pelle Command (RJPC-NPA) public statements duly reported by legitimate news outfits, five punitive actions were carried out by RJPC-NPA in the last five months in two cities and two towns of Northern Negros.
These statements can be accessed at [email protected]. There is no proof, documentary or otherwise, that the RJPC-NPA ever own up the killings of the other 10 individuals mentioned.
As a refresher to Domosmog, the following details of said punitive actions were as follows:
On January 6, RPA ringleader Elberito Ancero was punished in Sitio Catugisan, Barangay Bagonbon, San Carlos City. This was followed on March 11 by the punishment of robbery group head Efren Solinap in Sitio Tinawgan, Barangay Consing, E.B. Magalona; April 2 of brother-killer Jonhi Montoya in Purok Singko, Barangay Gawahon, Victorias City and April 15 of landlord goon Rickne Daipal in Sitio Bairan, Barangay General Luna, Toboso and finally, on May 14 , the former Cafgu, Junry Gani was punished in Sitio Minasug-ang, Barangay Bandila, Toboso; all in Negros Occidental. All these individuals, aside from being an active intelligence assets of the fascist military, has committed various grave crimes against the people and served as peddlers of anti-social influence and activities.
It’s obvious that Dumosmog wants to create a scenario of killing spree to villify the NPA as a terrorist organization. Clearly, he runs out of propaganda ammunition in the light of NPA’s resurgence as the result of Third Rectification Movement initiated by the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP).
Dumosmog’s number’s trick will not fool the people who cherish the NPA as their own true and only army.
