BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Task Force said they are planning to conduct a surveillance testing to other sectors other than the market vendors in the city.

This after the city conducted the surveillance testing to 1,786 market vendors from the three major public markets: Burgos Public Market; Central Market and Libertad Market.

Mayor Evelio “Bing” Leonardia said the conduct of the testing was successful because “people are now aware of the necessity of the testing and they realize that such will redound to their personal benefit as well as that of their families and the public in general”.
