BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Central Negros Electric Cooperative has set power interruptions for tomorrow, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in order to conduct maintenance activities.
Ceneco, in its power advisory, said affected areas are those under Alijis Feeder 2 including a portion of Bangga between Lacson Extension going to the sub-village of Katilingban, Alijis, Delcom Sytems and Solutions Corp., Melbert Audio, and Windoor Class Aluminum Steel.
Reasons for the interruption would be the conversion of a two-span, one-phase to three-phase and extension of three-span three-phase primary line; erection of three 35-feet concerete poles, and installation of three 37.5kVa private pole-mounted distribution transformers, and accessories.
Electricity consumers are advised to turn off electrical switch/es for safety reasons, and provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
