BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Central Negros Electric Cooperative informs consumers that portions of Talisay Feeder 1, and Talisay Feeder 3 will experience an eight-hour power outage.
Ceneco, in its advisory, said the power interruption will start at 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will affect the following areas: portions of TF1, namely Villa Carmela Phase 2, and portions of TF3 namely E. Lizares Proper, Hacienda Binaliwan, Hacienda Otelia Lacson, Hacienda Osmena, Sugar Valley Subdivision, and San Esteban.
The advisory said maintenance activities will be conducted in these areas to “ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions”
CENECO personnel will conduct line maintenance and replacement of damaged insulators, while a CENECO contractor will conduct tree-clearing activities. Electricity consumers are advised to turn off electrical switch/es for safety reasons, and provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
