Curfew in new EO now at 11 pm to 4 a.m.

The city government here has shortened the implementation of curfew hours from 11 PM to 4 AM as it de-escalates its status to modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).

Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia, in an Executive Order (EO), stated that the daily curfew shall be observed by the general public with exemption to workers on night shifts, public emergencies like fire or ambulance services, occasions caused by disaster or calamity and those requiring medical assistance on board public utility vehicle or private vehicle.

The previous curfew was set at 10 PM to 4 AM when the city was placed under the general community quarantine (GCQ).

President Duterte on Monday 30 November declared Bacolod City as among those local government units that will be placed under MGCQ until the end of the year.

Leonardia said for the duration of the MGCQ, all persons are now allowed to go outside their residences but there would still be limitations as to the implementation of the minimum health standards and protocols.

Meanwhile, the said EO also stated regulations on partial liquor ban wherein the sale and purchase thereof shall be limited only from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM daily, and consumption shall only be made within private premises.

As of 30 November, the city has recorded 12 new cases, 15 recoveries, and no death. The total number of confirmed cases reached 5,396, with 284 active cases, 4,950 recovered, and 162 deaths.
