BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Kagayon Dance Troupe of the Colegio San Agustin here is one of the featured performers of the National Commission for Culture and Arts’ “Sayaw Pinoy Goes Virtual” that streams today, 5 February 2022, 6pm on the NCCA Facebook page.
Rudy Reveche, performing arts and Kagayon Dance Troupe director posted on his Facebook page said the dance piece of Kagayon is entitled “Ginhawa (Breath)” that deals with overcoming mental depression.
Reveche added in his post:
The weekly weekend virtual showcase of the dance groups from the Philippine regions is a project of the National Committee on Dance of the NCCA as part of the National Arts Month this February, 2022.
Sayaw Pinoy will be streamed on February 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 6:00 pm.
