Bacolod City and Negros Occidental has 217 combined total number of confirmed cases of CoViD-19 in just five days.
Bacolod, in particular, had accumulated a total number of 112 in five days, or an average of 22 cases per day since 12 August, 2020.
Since start of monitoring, Bacolod has 511 cases. Of the number 10 are new cases, with 116 recoveries and 384 active cases, and 11 deaths.
On the other hand, Negros Occidental has accumulated 105 cases in five days, or an average of 21 a day.
Twenty-eight of these are new cases, reported by the Department of Health Region 6 just yesterday.
Both the New Government Center, and the Provincial Capitol had gone under lockdown last week for seven days for disinfection and decontamination.
The NGC went on lockdown first last 10 August 2020 after an employee died of CoViD-19 complications.
Capitol followed two days later.
