Cops nab plantito with shabu

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Station 4 operatives here nabbed a man in Mandalagan village for allegedly planting a suspected marijuana plant and possession of suspected meth in a Buy-bust operation yesterday evening, 14 January.

The Special Drug Enforcement Team of the precinct led by Maj. Charles Gever identified the suspect as Albert Gonora Oñates, 31, who was nabbed at his house in the sub-village of Bulak.

Police seized from the suspect five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, a plastic pack of alleged dried marijuana leaves and a marijuana plant in a pot and the P500 marked bill used by the poseur buyer.

The suspected meth has an estimated value of around P115,000.

Charges for violation of anti-drug laws will be filed against the suspect.
