CLO ordered to investigate big crowding at BCGC

Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia ordered last Monday the City Legal Office (CLO), through City Legal Officer lawyer Joselito Bayatan, to investigate what could have caused the unexpected big crowd of people that converged at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) in the early hours of 26 September, Saturday, and if anyone or any group could have directly caused such an influx of people to the BCGC on that day.

The crowding was supposedly in relation to an interview activity being conducted by the DSSD for a DSWD Financial Assistance Program.

CLO investigate

Leonardia, in a press release, said in his memo to Bayatan that since this will not be the last time that the DSSD will be undertaking such interview work, the findings of the CLO will be useful in establishing future systems and strategies to avoid a repetition of the same incident.
