BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Central Negros Electric Cooperative announced a two-hour power interruption on Sunday, as maintenance activities will be done in Alijis Feeder 3 (AF3) “to ensure reliability of distribution lines” to avoid further serious damages that will result to major outages.
Power interruption will start at 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
The entire Grandville 3 Subd., Mansiliingan will be affected.
Maintenance will include “replacement of three-sets disconnecting cut-out and installation of one-set DCO at 1-phase lateral for protection and coordination”.
Electricity consumers are advised to turn off electrical switch/es for safety reasons, and provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
