Creation of blood banks for Negros is strongly proposed by gubernatorial aspirant Atty. Juan “John” N. Orola Jr.
“There should be one in the South and one in the North in order to address the prevalent and serious need of continuous supply of blood in the province. Each facility shall ensure to comply with quality standards to provide safe and quality blood for all people of Negros”, said Orola in a statement.
Orola’s number one agenda is health and he wanted to make sure that all necessary solutions that can be provided to help the people of Negros is addressed. He wanted to make sure as well that the people of Negros can have access to a safe, quality blood through effective management of donor recruitment, retention and care, through efficient testing, processing, storage, issuance, transport and distribution and equitable use of blood and its product.
One of the significant essential needs of the province is the continuous supply of blood for all kinds of cases. Storing blood strategically eliminates the danger of delayed delivery of blood. Continuous bloodletting programs can assure us of continuous supply.
Orola supports candidates endorsed by PRRD
Gubernatorial aspirant Atty. Juan N. Orola Jr., whose party is PDDS (Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan), is supporting candidates endorsed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
“I am a candidate of PDDS in the province of Negros Occidental and I wanted to continue the campaign of PRRD such as the anti-corruption and war on illegal drugs and criminality that is why I am following whoever candidates that will be endorsed by PRRD”, Orola said.
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte also filed his candidacy for senator under PDDS political party in the coming 2022 election.
PDDS was founded by administration ally Presidential Anti-Corruption Chairman Greco Belgica. It was accredited by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in October 2018. The party previously forged alliance with Cusi’s PDP-Laban last September.
PDDS was formed in support of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s federalism push, as well as his programs on fighting corruption and criminality. The party previously forged alliance with Cusi’s PDP-Laban last September.
Lawyer Melvin Matibag, secretary general of the PDP-Laban led by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi, also made a statement on Wednesday saying that PDP-Laban has its alliance with PDDS among others. The Alliances are strong and our leaders and members discipline, spirit, and morale are high.”
“Due to the geographical landscape, accessing blood supply is always an obstacle, screening for compatibility is another one. Thus, creating satellite blood banks for both the North and the South of Negros is one of the solutions that I think can address to this problem”, Orola added.
