Jomocan confirmed the death to DNX around 9pm.
Police spokesman, Col. Ariel Pico, told DNX the family had earlier refused to disclose the medical condition of Tan to the police.
The initial probe revealed Tan was about to ride his SUV in front of Crown Agri Trading and Infinity Lending, which he both owns, when three men wearing masks shot at him.
The report added the victim was hit in head near the right ear and on the chest.
Witnesses told DNX they heard what sounded like gunshots before they saw Tan slumped on the driver’s side of the SUV.
A crying woman, who was identified by occupants of nearby stalls as a sister of Tan, told the cops that the killers fled eastwards up Narra Avenue.
His shooting came less than a week after the fatal shooting of Gerald Cuadra, son of convicted drug boss Jose Kim “Boy” Cuadra who was gunned down on the first day of a downscaled community quarantine here.
