Bing, EOC oversee vaccine operation in SMX for priority groups

Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia, chairperson of Emergency Operations Center-Task Force (EOC-TF) and the COVID-19 Vaccination Council and City Administrator Em Ang, executive director of EOC and coordinator of CoVaC oversee the vaccine operation today in SMX Convention Center for residents who are under priority groups.

Aside from SMX, simultaneous vaccination activities are also being held at Barangays Bata, CHO Cluster, Estefania, Mabini Cluster, Tangub, City Mall Mandalagan, City Mall Golden field and Gaisano City today [Aug. 16].

The vaccine rollout is supervised by OIC-City Health Officer Dr. Edwin Miraflor Jr., and EOC deputy medical Dr. Chris Sorongon, with the assistance of barangay officials and vaccination doctors.

As of August 15, the CoVaC has vaccinated a total of 180,045 Bacolod residents. Of this number, 79,656 are fully vaccinated.
