BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Bacolod City will soon have the Bacolod Express Service Office, now that the city government has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Ayala Malls Capitol Central for the construction of satellite offices to here.
The Bacolod City Government has signed a Memorandum Of Agreement with the management of Ayala Malls Capitol Central yesterday that will allow BESO to be constructed at the mall’s third floor. BESO is expected to operate before the year ends.
Offices in BESO include the Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD), Local Civil Registrar, the Population Commission, Office of the Building Official, Business Permits and Licensing Office, Local Economic and Investment Promotions Office, Public Employment Services Office, Bacolod City Police Office, Traffic Authority Office, City Treasurer’s Office, City Tourism Office, the City Health Office, and selected national agencies.
The city is currently working for the inclusion of the Professional Regulation Commission(PRC) and Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to join BESO.
Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez said the City will provide the furniture needed as well as the expenses for the construction.
Benitez clarified it is a “rent free facility” with a five-year term and renewable for the same time period.
The office will be opened from 10 AM- 7PM.
An e-Government platform will be launched soon according to Benitez where one can secure permits even in their mobile phones.
