31 PUIs now discharged, 4 confirmed cases now monitored as PUMs

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Thirty-one of the 32 Persons under Investigation have been discharged, with their conditions improved, the City Health Office advisory revealed.

Four of the seven confirmed cases had since been discharged and monitored as PUMs, one is on continued room quarantine.

Of the PUIs that had been monitored, three had died but with negative results, two had died but with pending results, two are currently admitted in isolation, and one confirmed COVID death.

Two are currently in isolation: a 43-year-old PUI, female, no history of travel/exposure but with co-morbid conditions, and pending results, and Patient 3, who is now in stable condition.

The CHO has also confirmed one new death, a female 66 year old PUI who died last
7 April, 2020, with pending results.

The number of reported PUMs since start of monitoring is 2,469.

Of the number, 2185 have completed home quarantine, 18 PUMs to PUIs, 241 PUMs actively monitored.

Twenty-five PUMs are trans-out, or endorsed.

There are no PUMs that are “lost to contact”.
