Zubiri to adopt Bacolod general hospital bill, lands being offered by local residents

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Senate Majority Floor Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri has expressed his interest in adopting House Bill 6731 that effectively puts up a general hospital for this urban center.

Lone District Rep. Greg Gasataya told DNX that apart from the offer of Zubiri to sponsor the bill, some landowners in the city are also offering their lots on which to build the tertiary-level hospital (READ: Congress approves bill for Bacolod general hospital)
