Private schools ready to become among the first to get COVID vax

Martinez said that through the vaccine, they aim to “restore vitality in their schools and ensure their viability during these challenging times.”

Martinez, supported by other leaders of Private Higher Education Institutions, submitted a position letter to Leonardia to include the private schools in the prioritization of the vaccines.

Molina added that the management of the private schools expressed support and have volunteered its facilities for government’s use in the implementation of the program.

Also joining the meeting are Secretary to the Mayor Atty. Edward Joseph Cuansing, City Legal Officer Atty. Joselito Bayatan, and OIC-City Health Officer Dr. Edwin Miraflor.
