“To be in a conference together with people who all advocate for good governance made me realize that it is possible for us to achieve a better country with future competent leaders who think that the voices of the youth matter.” said Dexter Yang, Executive Director of GoodGov PH.

With speakers from the government, the private sector, and civil society organizations, the delegates will tackle governance issues through mentorship sessions that will cover topics such as civic engagement, lobbying, and direct participation in local governance concerning four key sectors: education, health, economy, and environment.

Kabataan Party-list Representative Sarah Elago, IBON Foundation executive director Sonny Africa, Greenpeace Southeast Asia executive director Yeb Saño, will be speaking at the conference.

We can expect to see initiatives for effective strategies for advocacies, through lobbying people-oriented causes and policies, in the new normal and lastly, increase in the youth participation in fostering good governance during the new normal.” said Carl Lumberio, Co-Project Director of GoodGovCon 2020.
