BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Anti-drug operatives of two police units here netted a total haul of suspected poor man’s cocaine worth close to P1 million in two busts happening an hour apart from each other on 21 February 2023.
The first bust, around 8:20pm, was by operatives of the Special Drug Enforcement Team of Ststion 8 in Singcang Airport village that led to the arrest of Hector Deximo alias Boboy, a resident of Talisay City who allegedly had 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000.
More than an hour later, in Mandalagan village, operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit led by Captain Joven Mogato nabbed Rowena Ponce, 44, and Alter Hernaez, 32, in a house along Brazil Street, Estancia Subdivision. Operatives also seized suspected meth worth P510,000 from the two jobless suspects.
