BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Provincial Disaster Management Team of Negros Occidental has reported 309 families evacuated from the cities of Escalante, Sagay, Silay and towns of Hinigaran and Cauayan as of today, 16 December.
Affected villages in Escalante City are Binaguiohan with 16 evacuated families;
Tamlang with nine; Jonob-Jonob, 29; Old Poblacion, 31 and Malasibog village with one evacuated family.
In Sagay city, the affected village is Molocaboc with 96 families evacuated consisting of 331 individuals.
Silay City has one family evacuated consisting of five members.
Poblacion village in Cauayan town meanwhile has 76 families consisting of 295 individuals evacuated, while Tagda Zone 5 village in Hinigaran town had evacuated 50 families.
