Today is Valentine’s Day.
But, sadly, in the time that is meant for love, there is still the presence of COVID-19.
The virus will never stop even in the day of love.
So, before anything else, before preparing for your dinner date tonight, here are some tips to make sure that love prevails this Valentine’s day, not the virus.
1. The virus can easily spread in crowded places.
Avoid it.
Go on a date to a private place.
Intimate. Just you and your Valentine.
In that way, there will be no risk of acquiring the virus and of course, your focus will only be drawn to the person you love.
2. Make sure that your Valentine doesn’t have fever before kissing.
Kissing, well, is considered ‘fun’, but getting sick – that’s not what you want.
If your valentine is sick, maybe just do it next time.
3. Never trust, for now, cheap hotels or motels.
If you want to get ‘privately intimate’ with the love of your life, go and splurge for it if you have some savings.
There are no problems with cheap hotels.
The problem though is the virus that can be transmitted through respiratory droplets.
And for some cheap hotels, not all, they wouldn’t probably bother to change their sheets especially if the past customer only used it for three hours.
So, be careful.
4. Refresh after the date.
Go get a nice warm bath or shower after your nice little date.
More than you feeling comfortable before sleeping, it is again best to make sure that there will be no virus that will hit your body.
Simply washing your hand will not work.
5. Go spend Valentine’s Day at home.
If you are single, go and have a date with your parents.
Buy a nice roasted chicken and gather your family for a dinner, later, after work.
If you have a nice little apartment because you’re living far from your family, invite your date to your place.
Order a nice meal and go turn on that TV and enjoy some of the best Netflix series.
Of course, the TV is not the only thing that will be ‘turned on’.
In these ways, you will have a Valentine’s Day that is fun, but most importantly – SAFE!
