Yesterday, the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council placed five regions, including Western Visayas, under “red alert” and categorized WV’s Emergency Preparedness Response (EPR) as Charlie Protocol or “high risk”.

Pornan also advised barangay folk to keep in touch with the CDRRMO operations center at the old City Hall for succeeding weather updates or cases of emergency.
