Eight-hour power outage on Wednesday in Mansilingan

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on 11 November 2020 Wednesday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions.

Outage from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday are in areas in Alijis Feeder 3 in Bangga Tuburan, sub-village of Fortaliza, village of Mansilingan.

The reasons are the replacement of four 35ft. 1-phase primary rotten wood poles with concrete poles and transfer of one 10kVa private distribution transformer with its accessories and secondary assemblies; Conversion of 1-phase to 3-phase primary lines; and tree and line clearing activity.

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, they are to provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
