BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc., through an advisory, informs its consumers connected to Hilangban Feeder 4 (HF4) that maintenance activities will be conducted on 10 October, Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Areas affected are those covered by HF4 specifically the whole area of Bacong and portion of Ma-ao including Pandan I, II, and III.
“This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions,” the advisory said.
Maintenance activities include conversion of 46-spans single phase to three phase primary line with its accessories; installation of 3-50 kVA distribution transformer together with its secondary metering; and, stringing of secondary drop. Electricity consumers are advised to turn off electrical switch/es for safety reasons, and provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
