BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers connected to Burgos Feeder 3 (BF3) that maintenance activities will be conducted on 7 October Wednesday.
A three-hour power interruption will start 8 am in certain areas covered by BF3 (portion only) namely Villa Soledad Subd., Estefania, and the sub-villages of Mayang, Pedring, and Araw of Vista Alegre, Bacolod City.
“This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions,” Ceneco said.
Maintenance activities include conversion of six-span one-phase primary line into Three-phase primary line, mid-span of 1-35ft. concrete pole;
erection of 17-35ft. concrete pole and 41-30ft. concrete pole; installation of 1-25KVA and 6-37.5KVA distribution transformer;
extension of 13-span three-phase primary line with 11-span underbuild secondary line and three-span one-phase primary line with underbuilt secondary line; and,
Extension of 41-span open secondary line.
Electricity consumers are advised to turn off electrical switch/es for safety reasons, and provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
