Don Salvador Benedicto Mayor Laurence Marxlen Dela Cruz announced on Tuesday 3 November that the municipality is now free of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

During the town’s 34th Inter-Agency Task Force meeting, Dela Cruz reminded officials that despite having no cases in their town, the public should still be vigilant, resilient and compassionate at all times.

Dela Cruz thanked all the village heads, officers, tanods, barangay health workers (BHW), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Municipal Health Office, Municipal Social Work and Development Office, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine National Police and frontliners for all their services to the community.
