Now: a message of a doctor from a medical institution here in Bacolod has gone viral that the medical system in Bacolod is exhausted and overloaded, and that should there be more covid positive patients, they cannot be accommodated anywhere anymore. If that is the case, we thank the good doctor for alerting the community of our situation… We, the civilian population appreciate information like this to alert and prepare us…

WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE TO PEOPLE WHO WILL FIND THEMSELVES POSSESSING ALL THE SYMPTONS OF COVID, but who will not and can not go to the hospitals anymore because they cannot be accommodated, and no doctor will go to them because of overload? WHAT SELF-ADMINISTERING PROTOCOL WILL YOU ADVISE THEM? Do not tell them “go and see a doctor”, and then at the same time inform them that “our hospitals are overloaded you better stay at home and take care of yourselves there.”

WHAT LOCALLY AVAILABLE MEDICATION, CONCOCTION, FOOD SUPPLEMENT, etc., ARE HERE SO THAT PEOPLE CAN TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES IF NO HOSPITAL WILL ADMIT THEM ANYMORE, AND NO DOCTOR WILL SEE THEM BECAUSE EVERYONE SEEMS TIRED, and some are resigning, and the supposedly marvelous but highly suspicious vaccine is still months or years in coming? PLEASE GUIDE THE PEOPLE POSITIVELY, DEFINITELY, CONCRETELY. COME UP WITH AN OFFICIAL HEALTH ADVISORY! GIVE PEOPLE HOPE! AND NOT DOOM AND GLOOM! May I repeat: we do not wait for that much ballyhooed vaccine when 99% of covid positive patients get healed NOW, without the vaccine. And if the medical or health care system cannot accommodate further patients anymore, THEN WHAT SHOULD THEY DO AT HOME? Tell them, guide them, advice them.
This is a health crisis, they say. Okay, let us not argue about that anymore… But what is clear is that covid is destroying the nation, the economy, hopes, dreams, investments, livelihoods, resulting from lockdowns. Since you have decreed lockdown, okay, then PLEASE TELL THE PEOPLE NOT ONLY HOW TO AVOID COVID BUT ALSO WHAT TO DO WITH IT, IF AND WHEN IT COMES GOD FORBID, WHEN GOVERNMENT IS RAISING ITS HANDS ALREADY AND TELLING THEM DO NOT COME TO OUR HOSPITALS, WE ARE OVERLOADED, STAY AT HOME. In other words, tell us SOLUTIONS, do not tell us how “big” the problem is. With all the hardships people endure, WE KNOW THAT ALREADY.
Putting it another way, how do we make the HOME BOTH A PLACE OF PREVENTION AND CURE AT THE SAME TIME, in such a times as this? Otherwise, you will see the most massive self-medication effort you will see in history if you do not advice us HOW TO TREAT COVID WITHOUT GOING TO THE HOSPITALS.
Finally, let us please be open to the possibility that this mass hysteria can be demonized, when we glorify the darkness and not return to God in faith that he will provide the solutions. Feed the faith, not the fear!
