BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Mayoral candidate Alfredo Abelardo “Albee” Benitez has rolled out what he described as “Albee’s plans for the first 100 days” ahead of the campaign period.
The eight-point plan is listed as follows based on a post on the Albee Benitez Facebook page, a link to which was sent DNX by his publicist.
Aside from the first 100 days plan, the post also carried a graphic containing an acrostic on the word “asenso,” loosely translated as level up in Hiligaynon.
Asenso is the word Benitez’ group had been using to describe themselves as opposed to the ruling Grupo Progreso (Group for Progress).
The Asenso acrostic stands for “Access Safe Education, Non Partisan Social Protection Opportunity,” the graphic said.
Tghe post also said “Asenso Bacolod Team is ready.”
The plans are: Cleanup Corruption, Asphalt Overlays of Subdivisions and City Roads, Eradicate Spaghetti Wires, Peace & Order: Gasoline for Patrol Cars/Renovation of Police Stations and establishment of better CCTV system
Re-Org of City Hall to increase efficiency, Solar Street Lights for safety and security, Health & Education, and Short term and Long term Market Renovation plans.
Benitez has yet to answer text messages sent to him by DNX regarding clarifications on his first 100-day plans.
