BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines — Bacolod City currently has 403 active cases, 268 of which are local transmissions, data from the Department of Health Western Visayas show.
This makes the city second only to Iloilo City in terms of local transmissions among highly urbanized cities and provinces in Western Visayas.
One hundred thirty-five of the active cases are Locally Stranded Individuals, Returning Overseas Filipinos, and Authorized Persons Outside of Residence.
Data from Bacolod City PIO on the other hand report that the city currently has a running tally of 531 cases, 117 recoveries and 11 deaths.
Negros Occidental, meanwhile, has 817 cases since start of monitoring.
Of the number, 394 are active, 235 of which are LSI/ROF/APOR, with 420 recoveries.
