BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers connected to Sum-ag Feeder 2 (SF2) that maintenance activities will be conducted on 17 October, Saturday.
Areas affected from 7 am to 9 am are the sub-village of Nami-nami, Tabunan to Dulao, Atipuluan and portion of the sub-village of Sampaguita (Kabayabasan), Abuanan, Bago City.
“This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions,” the advisory says.
Reasons for the outage is the conversion of 25-spans, one phase to three phase primary lines and mid span erection of additional 1-35ft pole (to correct long spanning) with its accessories. Replacement of 8-35ft rotten pole with its accessories (to be converted into 3-phase); and,
installation of 3-100kVA distribution transformer (platform) together with its primary metering at the sub-village of Pahu, Dulao, Bago City.
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons.
When electricity supply resumes, they are to provide an allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
