BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Face masks, face shields, and alcohol dispensers are not the only common sights today as the COVID19 pandemic continues to rage.

As the city and province went under a modified quarantine status recently, logbooks, forms and ballpens have also become commonplace.

While these are measures meant to make contact tracing faster, paper and pens, for example, can also be touchpoints that can potentially spread the virus.

Public transportation has also become slower as some areas in the province require cross-bordee passengers to go off jeepneys or buses and provide personal data.

Can something be done to minimize touchpoints? Can passenger data be gathered faster?

Viruses are complex, intelligent organisms able to hijack body cells and trick the body’s internal defenses.

But it needs a host, humans for example, to survive.

HyBrain’s John Dave Duenas shares in the podcast with DNX Executive Editor Julius D. Mariveles ways on how to harness technology against the COVID.
