Denmark lifts restrictions vs COVID

Denmark no longer has local COVID-19 restrictions starting 1 February 2022.

The joint website of the Danish authorities Coronasmitte.dk, which provides salient information and news on the coronavirus including travel and business protocols, revealed that restrictions — including the wearing of face masks — have been lifted.

Exemptions include recommended use of face masks and corona passport at hospitals and in elderly care.

Private businesses and private cultural institutions as well as associations however may make demands for continued observance of the restrictions, including requiring a corona passport or the use of a face mask or shield.

Denmark has been actively campaigning for vaccination among residents, with vaccine sites offering up to fourth dose of the vaccine.
