CENECO cancels six-hour power interruption on 23 September

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities power interruptions scheduled for tomorrow will not push through.

Power interruption had been scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the following areas: Portion of MF4 which includes Sto. Rosario Subd. and Bata Subd., Bata, Bacolod CityPortion of MF2, Buri Road: from Doña Aurora St. to Helens St., Estanzia Subd. and Camella Subd., Mandalagan, Bacolod City.

The reasons were supposed replacement of rotten poles and line clearing activities; and reconductoring of 3-phase primary line along Buri Road for voltage improvement and power reliability, and installation of armor rods to prevent vibration causing damage to distribution lines.

A private hospital, however, had reportedly complained, thus Ceneco had to cancel its scheduled power interruption.
