BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Seven employees of a bank are scheduled to undergo sample swabs for a RT-PCR test after it was confirmed by authorities here that Patient 14 had contact with them, City Health Officer Maria Carmela Gensoli told DNX.

The employees of the bank, widely reported in the local media as the AUB branch in Galo-Lacson Streets according to officials, facilitated the transactions of Patient 14.

The 36-year-old woman, a nurse, who authorities here have earlier described as a former casual employee of the education department’s division office, has remained asymptomatic, Gensoli added.

She also said some of the employees have already gone under home quarantine, a condition that the CHO allowed.

Their houses are big and have concrete walls, conditions that can insure against the spread of the virus, Gensoli said.
