BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs consumers connected to Asdes-Gonzaga Feeder 6 (AGF6) that maintenance activities will be conducted tomorrow, 3 November 2020.

Areas affected from 9 a.m. to 12 noon are St. Anthony Street, St. Jude Avenue (portion) and St. John Avenue, Dona Juliana Subd., Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod City.

This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions.

Reasons are the uprating of one 37.5kVA common distribution transformer to 1-50kVA common distribution transformer to prevent overload and safety of property; relocation of secondary lines from rotten wooden poles to adjacent Globe concrete poles for safety; and, tree and line clearing activity.

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, consumers are to provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
