NGCP cancels 12-hour scheduled power interruption; moves brownout to later date

BACOLOD CIY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) through a letter dated 6 November, cancels the shutdown of Bacolod-Reclamation 69kV Transmission Line (TL) scheduled on 7 November, 2020.

NGCP informs CENECO that the power interruption will be rescheduled on later date due to the ongoing troubleshooting of Power Circuit Breaker no. 501CB04BCL at Bacolod Substation, wherein the non-availability of the mentioned breaker, the Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV TL will be affected during the shutdown of Bacolod 100MVA Transmission #1 and Bacolod Reclamation 69kv TL.
