More than 600 provincial police personnel in the province voted via absentee voting

The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office has reported close to 600 police personnel who voted today through absentee voting.

Around 1,700 Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, Bacolod City Police Office, National Support Units and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6 are expected to vote via absentee voting.

NOCPPO spokesperson Lieutenant Abegael Donasco said the absentee voting among the officers starts today and will last until 29 April in Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Estefania Village.

Early this morning police personnel from 31 police stations of the province cast their votes, along with the uniformed personnel who can vote through absentee voting.

Early this morning Donasco said they have conducted Simultaneous Logistical Readiness Test and Dispatch Ceremony as deployment of police officers will start 10 days before the election day.
