BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Bacolod Cong. Greg Gasataya has asked the Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rolando Bautista for additional cash assistance for Bacolod City especially those affected by the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Gasataya, according to his Facebook page, had asked the secretary of DSWD for additional aid during the budget briefing of the House Committee on Appropriations of which Gasataya is vice-chairperson.

The lawmaker said it would be better if government gives additional aid to affected families until end of September or while the MECQ is in effect.
