BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The latest case of apparent salvaging in EB Magalona, 25 kilometers north of here, is also the fifth and latest case of abduction in the province that happened almost on the same day last month when still unidentified killers snatched three alleged members of a robbery group operating here.

EB Magalona police chief, Captain Eric Doronila confirmed to DNX today, 10 February 2022, that the man found dead yesterday was Julius Dumip-ig, a resident here who was earlier reported to have been snatched by still unidentified men.

Almost a month ago, on 7 January 2022, three alleged members of a notorious robbery gang were also forcibly taken from a house they were renting in Vista Alegre village here.
