“Under a lockdown, nobody is allowed to leave,” the mayor said.

Instead, affected families will be given food subsidy through their Barangay Health Emergency Response Team every five days.

Patient 8 is the latest confirmed case. According to official reports, he was admitted to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital after he experienced difficulty of breathing. He died from severe respiratory failure and community-acquired pneumonia.

Before that, he had diarrhea for three days.

His immediately family, according to Leonardia, has already been transported to a quarantine facility.

  1. If this is still the case, Bacolod City is not free from COVID 19. IF LOCK DOWN IS THE ULTIMATE SOLUTION TO CONTROL THE SAID PANDEMIC, WHY NOT, DO IT SERIOUSLY. WE CANNOT PUT OUR PEOPLE IN GREAT JEOPARDY.

  2. Somewhere in the middle, from contact tracing, monitoring, self quarantine etc,, may loopholrs,,the solutions are total lockdown and mass testing weder wid symtoms or not, until now every now and then, maybe they tried to cover things.or delay results (????) to maintian “good covid record”, always something comes up to remind we are not free from the virus..and the city cant keep them forever, may budget bala, they should do it before its too late, sumbody must adv mayor..
