Just like how NWTF was founded more than three decades ago. Led by three women, the organization embarked on a journey to help women and families. And it has continued to champion empowering women by assisting them in creating a better tomorrow for their families.

Hence, this month of March, NWTF has prepared activities and programs for its staff, clients, and the public, in celebrating and empowering women.

On March 11, the organization will broadcast a webinar on Women’s Health: Cervical Cancer Awareness and the Importance of Pap Smear on NWTF’s Official Facebook Page.

Short yet inspiring feature stories on NWTF’s Dungganon Women—clients and employees will also be posted on all of NWTF’s social media handles throughout the whole month of March

NWTF is also very excited to share an inspirational video that seeks to empower and encourage all women to keep going, launched on March 18.

“In all that we do, our vision remains the same, and that is to help build vibrant Dungganon communities, and doing that includes these types of activities for women; to support and empower them in every way that we can, as we have been doing in the past 37 years,” Suzzette Gaston, NWTF Executive Director said.

Gaston shares how NWTF has managed to change the lives of thousands of other women.  “We go by a holistic approach in helping women. First, we give them access to capital. Second, we continue to aid them with services that would help maximize their income-generating skills through livelihood and business training we offer for free,” she added.

“And lastly, we provide them non-financial services for their health, education, and training needs, among others. All of which are helpful to them; for a fighting chance at breaking away from poverty,” she continued.

But NWTF revealed that providing all of these services is just one part of the equation because the other relies on how determined one is to achieve their dream.

For the past 37 years, NWTF has witnessed women constantly strive to improve their lives, and because of that, NWTF’s dedication to supporting them grew stronger.

“NWTF will always be here for its clients, their families, and the communities, as it was in the past, and in the better tomorrows, we will be creating together,” Gaston promised.

True to its name, the organization founded by women and for women–Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation will always be ready to help those in need.

Note to the editors:

Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation (NWTF) – founded in 1984 as a non-government organization that aimed to help women achieve self-sufficiency and self-reliance, particularly in low-income and depressed urban and rural communities. It sought to increase women’s awareness of their economic potential, to increase their skills and productivity, and to improve their quality of life. The organization has now grown to a total of 194 branches across the Visayas and parts of Luzon and serves more than 500,000 clients and counting.
