The Philippine Army here assures that, together with the police and the Commission on Elections, with the utmost support of the COMELEC, they will ensure that elections would be safe, accurate and fair.
The Army added that all Negrenses can freely choose their candidates, and that “results are respected”.
These were the assurances of 303rd Infantry Brigade Gem. Inocencio Pasaporte, as his unit along with the 302nd Infantry Brigade, the Negros Oriental police, and the ogethe Battalion Commanders of 11th, 15th, 62nd and 94 Infantry Battalions attended the Joint Provincial Security Control Center Meeting and presented programs and updates to ensure a peaceful May 2022 National and Local elections at the Headquarters of 302nd Brigade in Palanas village Tanjay City, Negros Oriental yesterday 24 March 2022.
Negros Oriental provincial Comelec Supervisor lawyer Lionel Marco Castillano discussed the preparations they made in partnership with the Army and the police to ensure that the elections will be conducted with order.
Present during the meeting were: Brigadier General Inocencio Pasaporte, Brigade Commander, 303rd Brigade; Brigadier General Leonardo Peña, Brigade Commander, 302nd Brigade; Lt. Colonel Roderick R Salayo, Battalion Commander, 11th IB; Lt Colonel Michael Cuarteros, 15th IB Acting Battalion Commander; Lt. Colonel William C Pesase Jr., Acting Battalion Commander of 62nd IB; Lt.Colonel Van Donald L Almonte, Acting Battalion Commander, 94IB; Atty. Lionel Marco R Castillano, Provincial COMELEC Supervisor, Negros Oriental; Police Colonel Germano P Millari, Provincial Director, Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office.
