All’s well that ends well: Provincial official not filing raps vs. cop

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Board Member Andrew Montelibano is not filing any complaint against a policeman here who claimed he skipped a thermal scan check in police-health chokepoint Monday, on the first day the general community quarantine here went in effect.

The third district representative to the provincial council even commended the police officer who he said “was doing his job” in manning the checkpoint and ensuring that all who pass through it was following government policies to prevent the COVID19 spread.
